The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce

Founded in 1926, the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce has grown into a distinguished network of more than 650 member businesses spanning the Greater Bethesda region and beyond.

Today, Chamber members form the backbone of the Greater Bethesda business community. Membership provides access to high-impact networking, business leads and referrals, and influential advocacy on legislative and economic development priorities - advancing a stronger business climate and strengthening the community as a whole. Members also benefit from elevated visibility and credibility, opportunities for thought leadership and public recognition, timely market and policy insights, professional development programming, meaningful community engagement, and a trusted forum for building strategic partnerships across sectors.

The Greater Bethesda Chamber’s active outreach footprint extends from the Washington, D.C. line, including Friendship Heights, north along the river corridor through Westbard, Glen Echo, Cabin John, and Potomac; east to Rock Spring and the Pike District, inclusive of the Route 355 corridor up to the point where the street signs turn blue, signaling entry into Rockville; across to Garrett Park; and back south through Chevy Chase - with Downtown Bethesda at the heart of our territory. We also welcome membership from any business, regardless of location, that seeks to serve, support, or grow in Greater Bethesda.
