FAQ's About our Chamber:

May I attend an event prior to joining the Chamber?
Yes! We understand that many find it beneficial to come experience an event prior to joining the Chamber.  We invite you to attend up to 3 events or meetings prior to joining the Chamber. In particular, we encourage you to attend a Chamber 101. These monthly meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 8am in our offices.  A board member will host the event to provide an overview of the Chamber, the ways to get involved, our work in the community and to provide time for networking. 

How much are membership dues?
Dues are based upon the number of full-time employees you have at your location.

If I become a member can I attend committee meetings?
Yes!  All members are welcome to get involved in all aspects of the Chamber and all of their employees are welcome at all events and all committee meetings.

What are the Chamber's refund and cancellation policies?
The registration fees for Chamber events are non-refundable. If you choose not to attend an event that you registered for, you agree to forfeit the fee. If an event is cancelled, then the registration fee will be refunded.

What is the Chamber's snow policy?
The Chamber follows the closing policy of Montgomery County Public Schools.  If schools are closed, all events and meetings will be cancelled for the day.  If there is a delayed opening, morning events and meetings will be cancelled, and all other events and meetings from 11:30 a.m. on will be held as scheduled. If schools are closed early, all afternoon meetings and events will be cancelled.

Can I use the Chamber Logo?
If you would like to use the Chamber logo in a presentation or ad, on your website or newsletter, etc., please download our Terms of Use. Just fill it out and fax it back to us or email it in an attachment sent to staff@bccchamber.org. (Chamber Logo Blue)(Chamber Logo Black)

I am moving to the area, can you provide some information?
Yes!  You can find helpful information here as well as send an email to staff@bccchamber.org with your name and mailing address to request a re-location packet.  We will include our Business Directory & Community Guide, local maps, mass transit information, and materials for upcoming community events.  This information can also be provided to those who are visiting the area.

I'm coming to visit, where should I stay?
We encourage you to utilize one of our member hotels, you can find a full list here.

Where should I eat in the Greater Bethesda area?

I'm looking for a place to hold an event or private party, do any of your members have private rooms?

Are there any events or festivals in the Greater Bethesda area?
The Greater Bethesda area is an active and vibrant community with many events and festivals each year.  You can find a list of annual events here, we hope you'll join us for the next one!
